What's Happening While You're Here
At the end of Ocean City’s award wining Boardwalk and the Inlet, is the Historic Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. After you have seen the extraordinary exhibits, and learned a little about Ocean City’s history, you can pick up the Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Ocean City, Maryland guide. Some of the original architectural gems still occupy downtown today. Maps available at the Ocean City Visitors Center on 40th Street and at the Downtown Visitor Center on 605-South Baltimore Avenue.This is a double treat, because after the tour, you will have worked up an appetite for your next prix fixe repast.
The Art League of Ocean City features continuous exhibits highlighting local & regional artists. The Gallery is located on 94th Street and is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11am-4pm and Friday - Sunday from 1-4pm.
Also, while in Ocean City during Restaurant Week, you may want to check out the events that are in town. On May 30-June 1, will be the Dick Gelfman’s Ride Across MD supporting the fight against breast cancer, www.rideacrossmaryland.org
June 6-7 is the OC Car & Truck Show at the Convention Center www.occarshow.com, and the 28th Annual Mid-Atlantic Classic Chevy Festival at the Francis Scott Key Motel, Rt. 50, highlighted by a parade on the Boardwalk, Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
